Meine unverzichtbare OSX-Software (1): PDFLab

PDFLab lets you split and join PDF documents as well as insert images and blank pages. You will also be able to easily create PDF documents out of several images. Its usage is really simple. You add your files in a list, select the pages you wish to include, order them the way you want and create a new PDF document.

Next Up: Mal schauen.

Stating that PDClerk “nicht wesentliche andere Features bietet” is indicates that you have not had a serious look at the software. Fact is that there is a partial overlap of functionality. PDFLab has a couple of features not offered by PDFClerk and PDFClerk has many features not offered by PDFLab. Also PDFClerk handles files of just about any size and number of pages, while PDFLab in my experience chokes on larger files. Considering that PDFLab is donationware and PDFClerk is shareware which one to choose depends both on your needs and your budget.

Thanks for your comment António. My judgement was based on the review in MacLife and my pretty good experience with PDFLab. It just fits my needs – that doesn’t mean I’ll never have a closer look at PDFClerk some day. Best, Markus
